Healing Your Body From Trauma w/Dr. Sonya Jensen EP 321

Dr. Sonya Jensen is a Naturopathic Physician that has a mission to change the way women understand their bodies and themselves. She believes that women are the center of their families and communities and therefore by supporting them, she is creating a ripple effect that will support the whole. Dr Jensen is a mother of two boys, an author, a yoga teacher, a podcaster, a workshop and retreat leader, and runs her practice with her husband where they help their community move into a state of thriving from surviving. Her background in cell biology and her lived experience with Ayurvedic Medicine in her home, has given her insights into the human body that helps her serve the women and families she works with from multiple different lenses. She is the co-founder of Divine Elements Health Center, The Longevity Lab, and The Health Ignited Academy, alongside her husband Dr Nicholas Jensen. Dr Sonya believes it is everyone’s birthright to live a happy, healthy, joyful, and abundant life.

As an experienced veteran with adversity, Lance has faced some of life's most difficult challenges. Grinding his way through the hockey ranks to traveling the world as a bartender. Through his personal battle with drugs and alcohol for well over a decade, the tragic loss of his brother to suicide followed by the great loss of his father to cancer only a year later, Lance realized he had hit rock bottom. In the darkest of days, he made a promise to himself that he would create a new life, one that would make an impact and inspire the masses, leaving the world in a better place than he found it. Lance has made it his mission to facilitate the message of positive change through adversity and encourage people to see the light through the darkness of life's worst moments.
