28. Tony Whatley - Self-Teaching, Side-Hustles, and No Excuses

Tony Whatley is a mentor, book author, podcast host, and speaker. He is the founder of 365 Driven business consulting that guides aspiring entrepreneurs toward their business goals through mindset, discipline, and habits.  

In this episode, Tony talks about how growing up in a small town impacted the work ethic he carries today. From a young age, Tony has always had a strong spirit of competitiveness that drove him to always want more out of life. He faced the adversity of going through a divorce. While fighting to support his son, Tony worked 3 jobs while working on his first business. Tony takes a no-excuses approach to entrepreneurship. He has also self-taught himself most of the skills that has allowed him to gain success today. 

Tony truly believes in harnessing your skill sets to create side-hustles and create value. He urges others to decide what they want their success to look like and only made decisions that align with their vision of success.

As an experienced veteran with adversity, Lance has faced some of life's most difficult challenges. Grinding his way through the hockey ranks to traveling the world as a bartender. Through his personal battle with drugs and alcohol for well over a decade, the tragic loss of his brother to suicide followed by the great loss of his father to cancer only a year later, Lance realized he had hit rock bottom. In the darkest of days, he made a promise to himself that he would create a new life, one that would make an impact and inspire the masses, leaving the world in a better place than he found it. Lance has made it his mission to facilitate the message of positive change through adversity and encourage people to see the light through the darkness of life's worst moments.
